Media, Communication and Cultural Aspects of Civil Society

This project aimed to analyze media and culture as elements of the developing civil society. By exploring the symbolically creative segments of civil society - media and culture - the project examined the construction of civil society and civic culture in the media and political discourse, undertaking an analysis of new modes of intercultural communication and international cultural cooperation prompted by new information and communication technologies, especially in the sense of a network civilization.

Connecting Croatia

Connecting Croatia is a project that aims to track the interconnectivity between Croatian web-based space and the international realm of the virtual world.

Regional Operational Programmes (ROPs) for Counties of Međimurje, Istria, Koprivnica-Križevci, Krapina-Zagorje and Varaždin

To conceptualize, for the first time in these counties, by way of a participatory approach, an integral and overall development plan for each of the mentioned counties which was first widely discussed, followed by the determining of the county development vision, strategic objectives, priorities and measures, on the basis of which a long-term and acceptable framework for specific development projects was created.

Implementation of Environmental Acquis Requirements in Respect of Access to Environmental Information and Public Participation in Environmental Approval Procedures

This project is to help Croatia implement this important part of EU legislation, by addressing these challenges on procedural levels as well as (and most importantly) through increasing capacities and knowledge at all relevant government levels for the implementation of the two Directives – on environmental information and on public participation.
