Sandro Knezović

Sandro Knezović holds a B.A. in International Relations, M.Sc. in Comparative Politics (thesis: European Union and Southeastern Europe: Comparative Analysis of Countries in the Region and the Union's Policy Towards Them) and a Ph.D. in Comparative Politics (thesis: Impact of External and Internal Factors on Regional Consolidation - The Case of Southeastern Europe) from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb.

Knezović is employed as Research Fellow at the Department for International Economic and Political Relations and his scientific work is concentrated on international relations topics, especially those related to international and European security (CFSP/ESDP), the EU and NATO enlargement and its impact on the region of Southeast Europe.

He is member of various international networks and expert working groups (Geneva Center for Democratic Control of Armed Forces – DCAF's Southeastern Europe Security Forum – Expert Drafting Group for Regional Security Strategy; UACES Specialist Group on EU Conflict Prevention and Crisis Management Policies etc.) that address these issues and has a noticeable experience in writing articles, giving lectures and attending numerous international conferences.
