Janko Bekić is Research Assistant at the Institute for International Relations (IMO), Zagreb, Croatia.

Mr. Bekić received a Bachelor of History undergraduate degree from the University of Vienna and holds an M.A. degree in Philosophy from the same university. He is interested in topics such as civic and ethnic nationalism, multi-, inter- and trans-culturalism, the relationship of politics and religion and many other related issues.

Currently he is involved in the project entitled "Cultural Diversity, Intercultural Communication and Digital Culture". He is also enrolled in the doctoral studies program "Comparative politics" at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.
