CIRR Instructions to Authors
Refereeing Policy and Submission of Papers
All papers will be subject to a double-blind peer refereeing process. Manuscripts might be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief in three copies. The paper must be accompanied with a 100-120 words abstract. An electronic copy (disk) should be included with the final version of the manuscript once it has been accepted for publication. CIRR generally accepts papers up to 10,000 words with the preferred length of 5,000 to 8,000 words. Papers from the field of economic and political sciences, especially international political economy and macroeconomic policy as well as related areas (e.g., security, diplomacy; business, development, social science methodology, and comparative social research) might be considered for publication.
Typeset Layout, Language, and Formatting
Papers should be submitted in English. Io special circumstances papers might be submitted in Croatian to be subsequently translated to English. It is preferred that the papers are written consistently in either British or US English. All accepted papers will go through a language editing process, but the authors are advised to make the text us correct as possible before submission. Manuscripts should be typed on one side of the paper, double-spaced, with wide margins. The final version should be accompanied with a DOS-formatted floppy disk. The electronic version of the paper might be in MS Word format. Papers with plenty of graphics and/or scientific notation might be written in Scientific Word or LaTeX. All submitted electronic tiles should be virus-scanned before submission by the authors themselves. Infected damaged or improperly formatted files will be returned.
Graphics and Tables
All figures, tables, and graphs as well as other graphics should be supplied with the paper, on separate sheets, with an indication in the text of where these should be included (approximately). Scientific notation such as mathematical expressions or formulas should be included in the text at the appropriate places, and not on a separate sheet of paper.
Endnotes and References
References should be in alphabetical order, given at the end of the paper. Notes should be given in numerical order at the end of' the last paragraph of the paper, before the references. Each endnote should be clearly indicated at the appropriate place in the text with a superscripted Arabic number. Endnotes should he numbered consecutively. It is the authors' responsibility to ensure that endnotes are properly marked and indicated in the text of the paper. All references must be linked. The unlinked references will be deleted before publication. The list of references should be typed as follows:

Originality
Submitted papers are assumed to be the original work of the author(s). All derivative work must be clearly referenced. Papers published in other journals and papers submitted for publication elsewhere are not acceptable.
Photocopies and Reproduction
Photocopying of single articles for individual or academic use is permitted. For making multiple copies and copies of entire issues a permission must be obtained from the publisher.
Proofs and Off Prints
Authors of the accepted papers will receive the final proof of the article prior to publication. Major revisions beyond printing and typographical errors of the already accepted and edited articles will be made at the expense of the author(s). Each author of a published article will receive one copy of the journal, free of charge.
Book Reviews
CIRR will publish reviews and review essays of the recently published books which are within the scope of the journal. Books reviews should generally be 1,000 to 1,500 words in length while review essays might be up to 3,000 words. Please contact the Editor-in-Chief with a proposal to review a particular book.
